Socialism is meant to protect the freedom, dignity, and equality of all people. It is the fulfillment of the promise of the Declaration of Independence and the promise of the Constitution. Through the establishment of a more egalitarian economy in America we can someday create a society with the type of liberty, justice, domestic tranquility, and general welfare that our forebearers could only dream of.

I am a socialist, in the broadest sense of the term. I do not ascribe to any strict ideology, although I lean more towards decentralized and democratic socialism more or less. I am opposed to violence and to totalitarianism.

What you should find here is (hopefully) intelligent and (hopefully, again) coherent analysis, commentary, and artwork with a leftist bent. Enjoy and what not.
